Costa Rica Vaccinations Recommended
Hepetitis is an important vaccine?
I saw what appears in the "list of vaccines recommended for Costa Rica, and I tried to obtain for my child to his medical practice. Apparently, you do not and can not get it, so I sent a herring City clinics, etc., but because they are insured can not handle! Is it important to vaccinate children who will play on the beach, etc. to Costa Rica? Any information on their experience with the importance of this vaccine is appreciated. Thank you!
Hepatitis A is an infection the liver caused by a virus. Normally it is not deadly than other types of hepatitis, but may leave the patient in a weakened state and a low resistance to infections. It is transmitted by the lack of hygiene, particularly in the handling of food and drinking water contaminated or ice water. If your child avoid raw food and not drink tap water or use ice from tap water should not be a problem.
