Costa Rica Uruguay

Why the United States the only industrialized country that does not have a nationalized health system?
How much fear-mongering tactics special interests play such as the use of words such as fear of "socialist"? People really believe that countries like England, Australia, Canada Spain, Italy, Nordic countries, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Uruguay, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela, countries, etc., etc. socialist or communist? Is it a coincidence that the U.S. is also one of the few countries to use imperial measures and was one of the last to abolish slavery?
I think you're playing with fire here to ask this question. lol I live in Australia, and love the fact that we have a universal healthcare system covering all citizens here. I can pay only 1.5% of my salary in taxes to cover almost any medical condition or injury in a public hospital and although I never had to use in 31 years, it is good to know that all costs are covered if I do. An overwhelming majority of people living in countries that have the support of universal health care as a whole, and is likely to riots in the streets if the government tried to abolish the scheme. Our Medicare system also subsidizes visits with a doctor my choice of many drugs on the pharmaceutical benefits scheme. We also have the option of paying for private health insurance, and that covers things like transportation, ambulance services, LAP-BAND (or obesity) surgery, elective surgical procedures, recovery massages and physiotherapy, alternative therapies, smoking cessation programs and includes discounts on dental and optical equipment in a private clinic. Warning care is regulated by the government here and should not refuse to cover someone for a pre-existing condition is. I the impression of people who oppose universal health care in the United States does not seem to know much about him. I have heard complaints that the government "Has control of their doctor and what procedures will be paid for" and "people from other countries come to the U.S. for their help," and "I should not have to pay for the health of another person". I saw on Fox News all long wait in Canada and the United Kingdom as well. But something tells me that my American friend, could a little naive to believe all the hype about "socialized medicine". These fears are largely unfounded and worst of all, your insurance company is obligated to pay your claim if you are sick, do not want to have a safety net secure (like Medicare) that covers, in this case? The advantages of tender care for all citizens (and significantly less expensive than current system too) far outweigh the small handful of stories found fox. In the current system of the United States, I heard many horror stories of health, too – particularly as regards the insurers are paying for their profits before the needs of the client – if you are healthy, take your money, but once you get sick – even …. I could find a flaw in its policy document to avoid paying. Universal has also enabled the health of countries like mine, here on Australia, to focus more on new research into medical advances – including creation of a vaccine against swine flu, and ongoing research for a cure against cancer and other chronic diseases. Too often, in a non- regulated capitalism – the long-term innovation and research is being sacrificed for short-term profits and consumer prices are pushed higher (not lower) increased competition to achieve that goal. Of course, if you can provide comprehensive health care to inmates taxpayer funded Guantanamo Bay, you can provide medical care for their fellow citizens? I do not say Obama plan is better, or what to do or support … just for you what I know. You can give those who are sure something to think about. Ask yourself what would Jesus do?
