Question about travel to Costa Rica?

My friend and I are planning a two week trip to Costa Rica during the month of August. We intend to go to San Jose and rent a car so that we can explore the rest of the country, and we hope that the neighboring countries. And here my question – I can rent a car in Costa Rica and Travel outside the country? I tried to do some searching around the Internet, but without success. Thank you very much in advance for any replies. I will choose the best answer, do not worry:)

Hello, No company lease will allow you to do that, there are alliances between countries and yet it is too risky for them. The best thing to do is rent a car in a country, the return and then rent the other side. You have to take either a private bus company between countries or public buses.
