Costa Rica Snorkeling Beach

or Costa Rica to Cancun in July?

I intend to take my mother to spend a pleasant holiday (something as the mother / daughter thing). The period is 18 July 1. I'm currently thinking between Cancun and Costa Rica. We are not the kind of people who would be happy to just spend all that time in a station, wetbar and spa. Ideally I would like to combine a few days at the beach / snorkeling etc with a few adventure tours – see the Mayan ruins, or go on nature tours. Since I'm traveling with my mother, the adventure of course:) No of us will be in Mexico or Costa Rica, so any advice will be helpful. The biggest concern is the high rainy season hurricane season / and also what to do. In Cancun, with excursions to Mayan ruins, horseback riding, cenotes, etc. – is enough to make for 18 days? Is it better to stay at the hotel included? In Costa Rica – rain as it is and what general advice would you give? Thank you in advance:)

The place where drug cartels carry many types of businesses. I really loved two places. It is difficult to choose, but what I think was good in Cancun was that we saw the lights of Cuba to the beach at night. In addition, Xcaret Eco Park is a hop, skip and a jump in the resorts of Cancun ….. This place is incredible. The natural beauty, its activities ultra-secure, many, and not too expensive. Take an underwater camera waterproof! not regret it. But Costa Rica … Oh man volcanoes and stations, they are wow! The people of Costa Rica also different … are so nice. The beaches of Cancun and are impressive. Furthermore, things are much cheaper in food .. Costa Rica, drinks, taxis, hotels, resorts, etc … but Mexico has the best food. Costa Rica also has a large number of retired Americans becuse it is very safe. Costa Rica is also ifrastructure more worn and need repair in Cancun …. Mexico has this problem too, but not in Cancun.
