Help to travel to Costa Rica?

I'm going to Costa Rica in two weeks. I heard it's the rainy season. "It is still a good trip (with a time of sun on the beach and visits canopy)? Or should the itinerary of my journey in a different hotel Costa Rica and save for a later date??

I was there last summer and the rainy season has been intense in August and is expected to last for some time. During March, April, May, it was beautiful!
