Rafting in Costa Rica – what is best type for a first timer?

I'm going to Costa Rica during Christmas for a month and while I want to go rafting there. I've never been before, but I consider myself reasonably fit. I like the idea of a trip one day to another, but the only ones who can find are in Pacuare River, which are all Class III and IV. Is it too much for a first timer? All Other recommendations of the raft where it would be wonderful:)

Hello, I rafting in Costa Rica before and is not as difficult as you think. First, make sure you do with a company with a professional guide and provide efficient safety equipment. Second, try class III, first, because class IV requires much physical effort. Thirdly, it is going to Pacuare rivers in the best second country and the views are magnificent.
