Costa Rica Quest

I am in a constant quest for perfect cup of coffee, and looking for a little help …?
I'm not really into the cups of coffee froufrou that people buy at Starbucks, or Dutch Brothers. I'm talking about real, home brewed coffee. I am not an expert in coffee (and therefore the question.) Please understand that research has been very, very long and continuous. Twenty years have taught me the Things I like: 1. I use a percolator, specifically a Farberware (No filters). My old GE percolator recently died, and I'm looking a replacement. 2. I use 1 / 3 Prime Dark Kona and 2 / 3 Costa Rica Terrazu (coarse grind, of course) 3. I use clean, filtered water Well 4. Do not overcook (except on a campfire) Unfortunately, still have not found the perfect, defect-free cup of coffee consumed regularly. Can someone help me find a cup of coffee?
I suggest you invest in a coffee press, coffee grinder adjustable and electric kettle (if not already). My recipe is as follows: All coffee beans (your choice, I use Espresso) most of the land not before placing in the press. Pour into the starting lineup just to boil hot water and let stand for 5 minutes and press the plunger down slowly. I know it sounds long, but I think it could reach its goal at the perfect cup of coffee. Enjoyment
