Costa Rica Outward Bound
Costa Rica Outward Bound

Pulau Ubin has remained surprisingly hardy for a country like Singapore, where all states of disorder and unorderliness must be righted. Alignment Trademark seeped into the white center, built the breakwater pods, but the city when he left very touched, and left owners with their own equipment.

Pulau Ubin is a campground of choice for pupils, especially those that are in uniform as the Body Cadet National Police. Outward Bound is a school on the west side of the island, it is literally and figuratively outside the boundaries of all other visitors. But even with the other half, there is still plenty to see and walk to enjoy a day out of the city.

I kickstart my day at Pulau Ubin with a cup of teh-if two pieces of Roti roasted over charcoal, with layers of butter and sugar and 2 eggs half-shell. I usually the first eggs. The track is open and pour into the dish and taste with a little soy sauce before eating. Then only I did not like the bread, and uses part of it to clean the remains of the egg in the dish. I love crispy bread crisis in the merger of sugar in the mouth. Finally, I swallow my Teh-so slowly washing my breakfast. Enjoying a traditional breakfast in the morning breeze, in a scenario Kampong really reminds me of my childhood nostalgia.

Less than 30 years ago there were still many people living on Pulau Ubin, and the children took the boat to the mainland for their lessons. But young want to live on the island today, because time is of the essence, and it is so inconvenient to go to school or work island. If grandparents have only chosen to stay on this island. People who live on the island live on visitors who come here on weekends. Some continue to fish and farm, while others earn their living by renting bikes and selling food and drinks for visitors. Many residents Local started coming here to fish and crustaceans, Singapore is also very famous.

It can get pretty good bike for a reasonable rental per day less. But if it does not hurry, you can see more on foot rather than on two wheels.

First he planted along the road. There are several kinds of local fruits that are more and longer roads, papaya, coconut, cempedak, durian, guava, cocoa and cotton. These plants grow on its own, imbued by nature and light, and can imagine they are completely organic. Although man has interfered with nature for the flowers bear fruit any time, Pulau Ubin has maintained he has played with the nature and type of fruit and flowers you really depend on the season you're there.

Secondly, you will walk a better understanding of the lifestyle Kampong old. Pulau Ubin is one of kampongs only two left in Singapore. You never have the opportunity to see these log cabins in another Singapore, tendrils that grow out fences, or small plots of land they have tried to develop their own factories. If you are interested enough to learn their subject, you'll be rewarded with a free exchange of their lives.

The main attraction of Pulau Ubin Chek Jawa is. Before it was an area swamp, where the wetland community. But the discovery near threatened their survival and the National Parks Board of Singapore intervened to protect the community wetlands. Thus, a path has been built around at Chek Jawa, and anyone interested to see Jawa shek at low tide, you can try to book a guide to national parks. The small fee, you pay the guide is what you experience if you are there at low tide.

Apart from Chek Jawa is House No. 1. An unusual sight to see on Pulau Ubin, except Paris. It is the confusion of an architect like a chimney was built under the house. Singapore is hot throughout the year, and I doubt that the fireplace was used. Although the house is a rarity, is an ideal place to relax and watch the sea and the mainland.

There is also a career low of Pulau Ubin. Water deep blue may be tempting, but now out of reach of visitors. The ride is quiet and if you want to catch the early risers at Pulau Ubin, will spend the night here. There are some you can camp or camping there is also a spa that offers hide Pula Ubin challenge for adventurers.

Pulau Ubin offers a weekend without roadway congestion, no jostling of the crowd up and down the plane.
