The best hotels near the airport: Liberia International Airport (Costa Rica)?

I'm looking for a night near the airport in Liberia Costa Rica before an early flight. What hotels are near the airport and are the best offer (ie they are cleaner, more "Americanized" (if possible), and are less expensive)? So do you know if any of the hotels near the airport offer free shuttle service to the airport, or if I take a Taxi? Thank you. It's just one night, we Arenal and Playa Samara, on the Pacific coast for 12 days before our night in Liberia. In fact, I think we can lead to Playa Hermosa Hotel (the beach is only 30 minutes or so of the airport, which is not bad) if you need one last thing to do before our flight.

You did not mention when you are in Costa Rica, but I think one of the closest hotels to the airport Liberia International is the Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport, which is less than a mile from the airport. It also has free transportation to the airport, thus, a Hilton (as Americanized as you can). At $ 79 per night is not a bad option for a 3 star hotel (which was the rate of chepeast www.costaricahotelsearch.com August 2010).
