Holiday Tips Costa Rica?

I will stay at La Perla Negra Pueto Viejo, Costa Rica for 2-3 weeks. You are seeking advice someone who has been before and can give me specific details on issues such as how much money you need for this quantity time and if you go in July and August is a bad idea because the rainy season (which I have heard differing opinions on "Some say rains almost nothing). Advice will be helpful:) I am a 24 year old traveling alone too. In reality, not the party of crazy-holiday aimed more at the solitude and adventures:)

I was myself and to 2.5 weeks in June However, you stay on the opposite side of the country where I was. The smart money, I can buy local food and is relatively inexpensive, with taking the bus, which can really get by with very little money if you do not buy drinks. Rain, yes it rains, however, it dries very quickly because it is very hot, I remember the first time it rained my 2nd day, I felt that way, it rained for two hours, then I thought it would suck and be all wet, but dried so quickly. I would definitely go to Monteverde and the zip line, I think I've done has been Xtreme or something in the name of it and it is amazing. Also Monteverde Cloud Forest is in the top 100 places to visit before they disappear. Displaying the volcano erupting in the night in La Fortuna was great. And Samara was a popular beach nice and quiet with little development, while Tamarindo is a tourist all day. While these places are far away, and bus tours, which will take a while, but it would be cheaper. Lemon hear is not so great, so I jumped, people told me that before my departure and was therefore the premises.
