Is it illegal, I talk to a lawyer?

I am a citizen of the United States, I live here in the States (20 years) who was born in Costa Rica, I have two nationalities, I go to my country of origin of each CR year (for a week or two) to visit my family and I have never problems until I was two weeks ago to visit and when I was ready to board the plane back, I was at the airport, on one side and humiliated. I could not fly because he had an identity card Costa Rica …… I have my American passport and my ID United States, which was not !….. Mostly I could come back the next day after the threat. That happening I ask? Airlane Immigration to blame, and immigration Airlane …. I have no explanation ……. I am committed a big mistake, and I felt humiliated ….. help!

I do not think it was the airline because they have no authority to stop or even to persons involved in immigration issues. Was immigration and U.S. immigration CR prevent fly? I personally believe that even if there was a problem and may feel humiliated, if the Department of the inmate that he acted in good faith of duties assigned to him, there is not much you can do.
