Costa Rica Food Menu

I need help with some information about Costa Rica?
I am doing a research on Costa Rica in respect of matters processor. I have some information, but proved very difficult to learn certain things. If someone is there, I ask some questions. Need to know the eating habits of the local population. So this includes the time, tools for courses, and structure. I also need to know about the food or menu items specific to regions and food taboos (food so that people associate with Costa Rica, but are not really there) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I do not know much, but I was there for a month. People rise before in American children entering school after 8 and until the work is not started too early – city is not served until 8 or 9. then you probably eat a little before. Most people eat rice and beans, eggs and fruit for breakfast. Typic breakfast (or typical breakfast) in one of the restaurants was 2 fried or scrambled eggs, rice and beans, a few pieces of fruit (watermelon, papaya, pineapple) and a small piece of bread or toast. There are also plenty of booths and most of what they sell is corn or maize. There are also many fruit stands – Small Watermelon, papaya, etc.. cold coconut are also popular – the sting a hole at the top and insert a straw and drink. This is typical of towns and the interior and the coast. For lunch – rice and beans sometimes more mixed with chicken or other meat – fried plantains are also popular. as a plate of pulled pork, I tried the chicken and eggs are very costs. Not sure for dinner, because there was a very good Italian restaurant near me and I ate everything. Lots of fish dishes on the banks of tuna and marlin ceviche of fresh tuna and carpacchio Dorado (also known as Mahi Mahi).
