major holidays: the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels .. August 2nd Christmas, Father's Day + mother's independence, the Battle of Santa Rosa and Rivas, Food annexation of the Nicoya party famous tamales, gallo pinto, rice and beans, pico de gallo, pies. Celebrities: Franklin Chang (astronauts) Claudia Pol (swimmer) and the search for folk songs Oscar Arias (current president and winner of the Nobel Peace) Music clean "Guanacasteco Point" "Ticas Lindas." Religion: Catholic traditional clothing: the men wore jeans and a white shirt, women wore a skirt with colored stripes Hope this helps!
