Costa Rica Drinking Water Safety

A bottle of filtered water good for travel to Costa Rica?
I'm traveling to Costa Rica this summer and I read on Security water. Some say it is safe and the other saying that to keep a filter … I suppose it could be on the safe side and make a bottle of water with a filter. I looked around online and can not decide on one. I want to filter out bad things that might be in the water in Costa Rica, it is extremely difficult to drink, which is to support the bottle in my backpack, and put a filter that will last at least two weeks. I would really like to hear from people who traveled to Costa Rica or otherwise similar and took a bottle of filtered water … What worked for you? What do I really do not buy? Links would be appreciated!
