Costa Rica Dominical Weather

May the road in Costa Rica is quickest?
In a few months, I'll go to Costa Rica. This is my fourth down, and I'll drive San Jose to Pavones. The past few times we headed south on the Pan-American Highway (Route 2), then on the way back to San Jose we Beach Road, Sunday, Jaco, etc. It was difficult to assess which of these roads are actually faster because of the time, stop, the lack first, etc. So, which of these roads are faster? Come August, so hopefully the rain. Last June we had a tropical storm the journey of our conduct, so that it can not be worse than that!
In August? It may be one side of the coin. The coast, which are more likely to reach truckers (slows movement) Provision of coastal cities, where the other less. But it depends on the weather. A good shower, some accidents and anyway, the traffic can be in a position yet. And yes, it can worsen. A flooded road and can be expected to serve for a few days waiting water downward. Personally, I Panamerican Highway in both directions because it seems to be fewer trucks in it, easier to pass slower vehicles and better maintained. In addition, since it goes inland waterway (What is right for me), it seems that the rain / Not all the time, the water flow faster because of the mountainous coast, then … so they are less likely to get in traffic to maintain the status quo.
