Costa Rica?

My family and I are going to Costa Rica next summer and I wonder what to do. There are four of us and not less than 17. We are "adventures" and in snorkeling, diving, sailing, go to the beach this kind of thing. So please if you have experience with Costa Rica or if you know a nice place or activities Please share.

CR were repeatedly, we took a family trip with my wife and son, 17 and the group of my brother with two children 16,17. We rented a van, 8 seats I think Hyundai and spent 12 days driving around. Our journey began Arenal North is certainly worth the visit, we were lucky and actually had a clear day to see through the volcano, which is spectacular at night – two days we spent there in El Arenal Paraiso (recommended) and a day of rough water live was fun for everyone, then went to Monteverde, which will no doubt if I did that again. E is there and the zip line was incredible, but the unit has been horrible and long term, averaging 5 km / h for 2 hours due to the suspension of 4-WD trucks trucks were a little better "In fact, he should drive for the day throughout the CR by potholes in roads, large are rare, but safe driving and I think it is a good way to see the country road and enjoy the soft, small restaurants with good food TiCan. Then went to the Nicoya Peninsula, on a beach, sun and surf. I think it was 5-6 hours by car once we have withdrawn from the wickedness of Monteverde and the main road. We went to a beautiful beach on the Pacific coast south called Samara and hanging there for 5-6 days to complete our journey. Samara is enough quiet, but a great beach with half wave and a lot of good food and bars crown of the city "go to surf shop Jessie's family persons galley on the beach. If you are looking for a more active role for North Tamarind (I know they call earth gringo and it is increasingly developed), but it is a beautiful beach with plenty of nightlife and leasing activities in the Quad days, fishing, cycling … There are also great beaches around the area so that you can drive around and find a place that works for your fam. We stayed at the Capitan Suizo in Tamarindo different a visit was really an impressive place, was two days and stayed in May – is a little $ $ but much more reasonable summer. Allow one day again disk full because traffic SJ I think we made much of the day before arriving back in turn, hire and accident at the airport for our early flight the next day. However, driving is the best way to go, gave us the freedom to go where and when we wanted and provided a few laughs and some alerts crossing ravine 150 meters deep and the bridge by pushing the two pillars was a white knuckle ball .. Good luck and I am sure you will enjoy great people and CR Pura Vida Thus,
