Why do some puffer fish have small mouths united in her womb?

While diving in the Pacific Ocean today, off the coast of northwest Costa Rica, I saw a swimming porcupinefish seen with what appeared to be a type of small triggerfish (maybe less) or inhaler seen joined by his nose pointed to her belly. The smaller fish appeared to be dead. None of his fins seemed to move. It also seems to be a kind clear mucus or something to celebrate in the belly of a hedgehog is. Can anyone explain this behavior? Is this behavior is clean? The dive site, I saw him in the house of a cleaning station. Thank you.

Yes, it's clean. What is known as a relationship symbiosis where both parties help each other. The small fish, known as remoraids (by some) to clean the external bacteria / food debris. This prevents the blowfish to catch an infection. In return, the puffer fish do not come off and deliberately left the food on your skin as "payment". Other relationships of this type is when flies are attached to the rhino "nose, which serve the same purpose.
