Costa Rica Currency Value

If I take the gold in Costa Rica are assessed in the name of the brand or the price of gold that day?
I know is the import tax on bars and coins which are not official currency. I'm talking about real money. Also, if I have in my bag Chuck mixed with other currencies, they leave without being detected as being very helpful? Thank you!
Hmm .. interesting question. It This is a gray area. However, the pieces are technically legal tender, so that nobody should say anything. The problem is that if you do not go to Costa Rica, you may be breaking laws of export (can not export gold – http://www.dirla.com/costricacustoms.htm). Thus technically be declared on importation (but you run the risk of the discussion with the customs, etc.. And no clear regulation appears to be line). I would say if it's just throwing a few coins in your wallet and call it a day. No one searched my bag and I went to some wild country. It is the other side of the problem, bringing gold to the United States – Http: / / www.travelexpertguide.org / forum / Latin-America / Is-it-legal-to-take-gold-bullion – outside Costa Rica-416055.htm and I would ask another. Of course, no guarantee, but logic tells me.
