How long drive from Playa Hermosa, Guanacaste in the Caribbean?

Come in early March and to tell you the truth I booked on the Caribbean coast, I love the islands. But I've never been to Costa Rica, I wonder if a day trip work and would be profitable. "Good roads / confusion? Is it different on the Caribbean coast? Thank you!

With the earthquake there is a path no longer in use, which means it will be much more traffic on the road Braulio Carrillo. The roads can be confusing because there are few signs and roads are good if your in the mountains in the Braulio Carrillo National Park, if it is not can be fraught with pitfalls. But some tourists this way and that it is an adventure:) I love it when I see people with a positive attitude. Also, beware of the day travel plan as there are trucks that create tons of traffic that can be delayed for hours to see your calendar. But it's worth, believe me:) The Caribbean emits different vibration, and it is positive and fun! (South Zone) Good luck! : D
