Holiday Tips Costa Rica, please?

My husband and I would plan a vacation to Costa Rica in January and February, but I do not know where to start. Only we have about 5 nights and want a relaxing holiday, but not quite sure we would include all the-year. We are outdoor activities and want to be on the Caribbean coast (how it snorkeling?) And of course, I want to see the forest. We to stay in a beautiful place, but it is not necessary "luxury" (The budget may be up to $ 250 per day in total). All advice on areas to consider specific stations or hotels would be greatly appreciated!

There are many hotels on the coast Caribbean, especially around Cahuita and Puerto Viejo. Cahuita National Park has a beautiful beach and snorkeling opportunities are there. For more information Costa Rica general, you can try the website of National Tourism. We also have many hotels listed on the site TicosLand.com. Click link to the English language when you are on the main page and you will see that everything is classified.
