Investing in Costa Rica?

I sell my house in TX to Costa Rica and investing in residential real estate. What areas have the best growth potential? I intend to open a residential construction company. I appreciate all the information someone who knows RC. Thank you

Investing in a country requires a long time, research, enterprise approach and the possibility of a "Little more" in the future. Over 80% of those investing in Costa Rica until the end broke and / or screwed (hoax) and return to their country of origin. The friends I know who have managed investment have lived in Costa Rica for years. A contractor I know, who opened a contractor General who built homes for America rules took nearly 10 years to develop a chain customers. Yet, still struggling with the slowdown current economic and not to mention the fact that I had to learn to build there, find good subcontractors, engineers, supplies, etc. The hot spots are currently the beach areas (North Pacific and Central Pacific). However, many events that the new marina of Flamingo have been delayed due to poor economic conditions and the search when the property acquired had problems with securities fraud … it even displays the best and Developers have problems that can make or break an investment. I have another friend who bought a large piece of property overlooking the sea He built a house and put it on the market and is expected to double its investments. However, a developer bought the property in front, built a condominium project and blocked his view. It is now selling the property at a cost. Again, you have to spend time and do research. I am not here to discourage, but to give some sensible advice, such as spending time in Costa Rica before selling everything and move down
