The color of coffee beans?
Most roasted coffee beans are dark brown. However, I had twice Grain coffee (from the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica), which were completely black and very bright. Is it a grain or a different treatment technique different?
The color of a roasted coffee bean has to do with how the grain has been blown. In particular, the grain temperature coffee roasting where the composition. It also has an effect on the brightness, but the variety of Jews play a role here too. The oils in the grain comes to the surface as the temperature approaches 500 degrees F during the roasting process that results in a grain finish.
