Costa Rica Average Temperatures
What is the average temperature in Costa Rica in traditional winter?
I am studying abroad in Costa Rica in August to December. Willing to eighty years? Sixties? I try to understand what clothes to pack.
If you go to the University Costa Rica, San Pedro or elsewhere AKA San Jose area, central highlands, then you can expect sunny mornings, the afternoon rain, with temperatures around 70. On the coast, which is more like 85-90 with the morning sun and rain in the afternoon. Towards the beginning are the days of heavy rain, as you are at the height of the rainy season from August to October.
