Things to do near Miami International Airport?

I fly to MIA at 6 pm at night. The next morning, I'm on a flight destination of Costa Rica. 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. What can I do in Miami? I will not join my group the next morning if I want to be sure of one female. NO Bars / Clubs. "I can take a walk around a stage? Any fun (and safe) places to shop? Any bands with good restaurants? I am waiting for something relatively close to my hotel near MIA.

Do not go outside the airport area only because it is mainly warehouses and deserted at night. I suggest taking a taxi to Coral Gables and you stop at the corner of Ponce Boulevard de Leon and Miracle Mile (Starbucks is here). From there you can walk into the shops, stores and restaurants. A good place to eat is Ortanique on the Mile that serves good Caribbean cuisine. Or, Miss Saigon Bistro Maroosh, Cave City, Graziano, Randazzo, etc. (some have websites) also can find many Sushi Steak, Italian, Vietnamese, wine bars, etc. in the four blocks north or south and Le Jeune Rd Douglas Rd (west and east). There is a book library books so independently and in a beautiful Spanish saddle and has a nice little cafe. We also have speakers, events and concerts. The bookstore is expensive, but worth a visit if you enjoy reading. The first Friday of every month is Gallery Night, and you can visit the art galleries on foot or by car (free). It is a good way to spend an afternoon. Visit the following sites for a list of shops, restaurants and events. For shopping incredible but expensive you can take a taxi to Merrick Park (Nordstrom, Bebe, Roberto Cavalli, Tiffany, Burberry, Coach, Gucci, Lacoste, etc.) also have restaurants. This is just an upscale shopping center to me downtown Coral Gables area is a better choice for things to do.
